last weekend.

was wonderful.

we were fortunate enough to see some really great friends that we have not seen in quite some time. (Native, Thursday, Dave, Jess, Mark, there are many many more.)

seeing the Thursday dudes on their stop in grand rapids was a blast. it really made me miss being on tour with such kind and inspiring people. i can’t say enough good things about those guys as musicians and as people. truly a band who does it for the right reasons. bravo fellas.

saturday evening we headed to indiana and played with our best friends Native. love you guys! really. Dan. you rock.

Winter Tour, Winter Tunes

hello friends,

hope everyone is having a great week. mine is going very well thanks to my friends and this beautiful december snow. it’s funny how I was dreading winter so badly until I saw the fresh snow this morning. amazing!

we’ve been keeping pretty busy lately writing tunes, trying new ideas, and figuring out our game plan for 2010. all of us are very excited to put some new music out and also get back on the road. so here goes:

regarding the road:

after the holiday season we’ll be venturing through the wonderful midwest weather with our best friends in the world Native. (If you haven’t checked out their new disc yet, do it.)

now, regarding tunes:

as I mentioned, we’ve been jamming a lot and having way too much fun with it. we also recently bought some gear and are trying to put together a studio of sorts (something a few of us have wanted to do for some time now).

that being said, we all know the holidays are coming. we’d like to give you all a gift. yup. I just got done talking about music. it’s probably music. maybe new. maybe old. maybe both. we’ll see.

we’d also like to offer everyone the opportunity to give during this time of year. many folks get overlooked and shrugged off with all the distractions of holiday festivities.
