SXSW 2010

Hey All,

Thanks for the massive support at our very first SXSW. We had a wonderful time spending our days and nights with friends from all over the country. A rare and encouraging experience it’s been to play alongside so many amazing musicians and artists.

And a very special thank you to anyone who came out to any/all of our three shows down there, you made our week.

Our run of shows with Touche Amore began last night in the beautiful state of MS. The south is a great place to be right now. Thanks to our wonderful hosts who are letting 11 strangers stay in their very well kept house.

Make sure to come and check out a show, Touche is one of the greatest bands in the country and they’re not often on this side of it. Plus, Vass is playing bass for those dudes and he’s having a blast. Not to mention he’s doing a bang-up job.

spring tour

It sure has been very “spring-ish” lately here in GR, and we’re very thankful for that. (Beautiful weather sure makes for happier midwest folk.)

Tour starts tomorrow in St Louis, and we’re all very anxious to get back on the road. Certainly a stressful few weeks sorting out logistics and writing new tunes, but it’s time to go!

Quick note: Vass enjoyed a particular Dustin Hoffman film so much that he named our tour after it. The rest of us still need to see it. Wait, maybe Kevin saw it. Can’t remember.

As mentioned previously, we’ll be recording some new tunes in NY on this tour with our buddy Andrew. In preparation, we’ll be playing said songs at all these shows. Come have a listen please, we’re excited to see you all.

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who came out last weekend. Perhaps one of the best weekends yet, all 3 shows were fantastic. If anybody has photos please email us!

i also left a day early for tour and forgot to pack my phone charger. if anyone has an extra LG enV2 charger and brings it to one of our shows, i’ll always love you.
